Your Daily Focus: Eagerness
Are you as happy as your dog?
When you see a friend do you get all excited? Do you look directly into their eyes with a great eagerness to be noticed? To be pet? To be hugged? To be played with?
When you see your spouse or significant other coming home, do you get up, go to the door, anxiously await them, blocking the door, shuddering with excitement and love? When they enter your home do you hug them, lick them, run circles around them? Do you make it undeniable clear to them that they are the most important person in the world to you?
If you did, you would have the greatest relationship ever.
if we ALL did, it would transform the world forever!

Sometimes I feel like you are writing just to me. This story speaks to my heart. My 1 year old puppy, Red, is the living example of the story you just wrote. When I get home, no matter my current state of mind or mood, he is so excited to see me that he can’t control himself. His love is the purest form of unconditional love you can find. I am so blessed to have him.
When Shannon (my wife-to-be) gets home I do get up and greet her to show her how much I am happy to see her. Subconciuosly, Red has taught me a valuable lesson. For many reasons that you outline in your writings Shannon and I have a truly special relationship. Thank you for continuing to keep life in perspective for me.

I was just talking about this with my friends in North Carolina today. They are really dog people and we al we all decided we would treat each other as good as we treat our dogs…….I wonder how many people could actually receive it with an open heart
