What makes your heart sing?

We live in such a practical world! We’re always thinking about, or taught to think about, how to make money, how to have a career or job that makes a lot of money, how to save money, how to fight for money, how to make sure we get our ‘fair share’ of money, how not to lose money, and on and on and on.

What about what makes our hearts sing? Have you ever spoken with someone who totally loves what they’re doing for a living? Or someone who has elements of what makes their heart sing contained within their work? These are people who won’t even call their work “work”. They love what they do and it’s their passion.

Gosh, what a difference it makes in them compared to someone who is working for the paycheck and isn’t fulfilled by the work they’re doing. The ones who are doing what they love exude an amazing, positive energy and are lit up from inside. I love being around those people!

To me, that is real freedom. When a person’s heart is singing, they are irresistible to themselves and to the world. Everything seems to go right for them. The right people show up to help them with projects, work goes smoothly, time flies by, and money follows them. It’s almost as though solutions appear before problems show up!

As you well know, positive thinking is my passion. I love surrounding myself with positive energy, positive people, positive writings, positive everything. I also love teaching it, and coaching it, helping others shift their thinking into more positive habits. The knee clinic that I’ve created reflects my passion. I even have a library filled with books on positive thinking in the waiting room. I want my patients to feel as good as possible while they’re waiting for me to help them feel better. They can even check the books out to take home to read. As you can tell, it’s very unusual and it reflects my beliefs on how to create a life that feels really good.

That’s what makes my heart sing – feeling good, and showing others how to feel good.
