Your Daily Focus: Sharing
Imagine all the people, sharing all the world. — John Lennon, Imagine
Throughout time there have been many people that believe that land cannot be bought or sold, it is to be shared amongst all people. There have been many people that believe that there is no fundamental difference between people in different countries, of different religions, of different heritage, or race, or political affiliation, or social sect, or financial class.
They believe that we all come from the same origins, and will return to the same energy when we pass. They believe that it is the identical energy that beats the hearts of every living person on the planet. Thus, they believe in treating every living person with the love and care that we desire for ourselves. I hope someday you’ll join us.
This week, being the anniversary of his passing, many of us feel the energy of John Lennon extra strongly. In honor of that, I would like to share the complete lyrics of his song Imagine. Read them slowly and see if you can feel them in their fullest:
Imagine there’s no Heaven
It’s easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today
Imagine there’s no countries
It isn’t hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace
You may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you’ll join us
And the world will be as one
Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world
You may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you’ll join us
And the world will live as one
I love the way of evolution and how the dreams of everyone live on after the body has descended.
There is no death and the spirit lives on. The memories keep producing the dream, the authentic legacy of the journey of the giver.
Thank you Rick, for this beautiful message. It is timeless, and full hearted. When I hear this song my own heart fills to overflowing from the message of unlimited love that it gives. Imagine.
Makes you want to cry, doesn’t it? Living for today? That’s what am doing right now after losing my business a few monthhs ago. And know something? Tomorrow always has a way of taking care of itself! After all tomorrow is an illusion while yesterday is gone for ever but today, God calls it ‘THE PRESENT’
You are so right. Tomorrow always does take care of itself. Whether we worry about it or not, it still comes, and brings hope. So, why waste the energy worrying? I totally feel every bit of that, but sometimes it takes time and practice to get good at it. I found that whenever I have an epiphany or a new awareness about it, I turn it into an affirmation and continue reciting it so the feeling of the moment is not lost. One of my best was “there is always enough money.” One moment I realized that I was worrying about next month’s bills when for the last 9 months all the bills got paid. it hit me like a sledgehammer, and I have held onto it ever since. No matter what is going on financially, I recite “whatever bill shows up, there is always enough money in the checkbook to cover it… like magic!’ So, I let go of the worry. Whenever a little creeps in, I jump on it with my affirmation. I think that is the key: find what works for you… and then DO IT! thanks John for sharing.
Imagine a world where people see each other as one and treat everybody equally and fairly. A world devoid of religious sentiment and its polarizing influence. A world where people realizes that heaven and hell are not particular places but states of consciousness. A world where people live at peace with themselves and the world.
This the world of my dream. Have a blessed day!

Wow Nser, what a powerful statement. “A world where people realize that heaven and hell are not physical places but merely states of consciousness.”
Imagine that!
