Your Daily Focus: Love
All You Need Is Love – The Beatles
Today is Christmas Eve, and I have invited a guest coach to write the Daily Focus. Enjoy, Rick
This blissful place that we all desire to be in – the place of peace and calm and knowing of eternal love, seems to be accessible, and experienced, on Christmas Eve. In the quiet hush of the night there is a sense that humans all over the world are feeling that gentle love and peacefulness.
Why is it so, that people of all religions, and even those of no religion, feel that soft touch in their hearts through an event that is centered on a Christian belief?
I believe it comes from that hope that lives within each of us, somewhere, that we are loved unconditionally, that we are worthy of being loved and that transcends all definitions, and religions. I believe we have that hope because that unconditional love does exist; that it is already within each one of us. When we truly feel the depth of the emotion that the hope of peace on Earth and goodwill toward all men brings, we know that to be Love. It touches us in the place inside of us that IS Love.
I believe that the beauty of the gentle hush that floats over our beautiful Mother Earth is the beauty of the Love that flows through each and every one of us. Love IS who we all are. We recognize it and feel it and know it because we ARE it.
My wish for you is that you allow yourself to relax deeply into that feeling, and discover that you find yourself right there. Then you will truly know peace and goodwill – you will know Love, you will know Home. And you will never want to leave Home again.
All you need is Love
All you are is Love
All there is, is Love

All you need is love is arguably the most socially relevant song ever written. It isn’t just a song, but a truism, an attitude, a lifestyle, a movement and a reminder of the direction we should move in and the goal we should aspire to as individuals and humanity as a whole. None of us would be alive today without having received love in some form or another and we won’t be here as a human race if we don’t develop the capacity to love (not fight) one another. Happy 2011
