Your Daily Focus: Acceptance
Where you are is just fine!
This is an affirmation I have posted on my refrigerator.
It’s importance lies in the fact that it encompasses
total acceptance of one’s past. That in turn allows for
total acceptance of the present, which manifests as
self-love and self-esteem.
There is a commonly accepted premise that the
Universe is in perfect order. That is how the planets
orbit perfectly around the sun, the Earth spins
perfectly upon it’s axis, and the perfect atmosphere
is maintained to sustain life. The premise includes
that if all the biggest things are in perfect order and
balance, then all the little things must be too.
That means that every little thing in your life, present
and past, happened in perfect order with everything
else. There can be no bad things, or wrong things, only
perfect balance.
You know there were many “bad things” that
happened in your life that you later saw as “good.”
for example, the lost job that led you to the better
career, the broken relationship that then opened
the door for your future spouse, etc.
If you can trust that there are no “bad things,” only
perfect balance, you will be able to find total
acceptance for yourself, both past and present.

I use this everyday with my clients. They come to me to get “better bodies” and get “in shape,” but the acceptance of where they are at right now is always a struggle at first. It takes practice, structure, and commitment – just like saying this daily focus.
As my clients workout more, they become more fit and strong….what they don’t realize is so does their self-love and acceptance because as they take care of there body, there mind grown stronger as well.
Wherever you are in your workout is just fine! Acknowledge and be proud of yourself for taking the time to work on YOU!
Say this daily focus, and apply it to your body and your workouts too! Because when your mind is strong and you love yourself, growth and happiness naturally come to you!
